Working at the confluence of technology, product, and creative the this role is a multifaceted resource who embraces new and emerging technologies, seeing where they can integrate into best practices and standards.
With the split focus between development and creative, the creative technologist is the linchpin for any projects success. While the core focus is in digital signage, the project types span a broad spectrum of customer experiences and will need many types of tech to be implemented in order to be successful – mobile, native, web app, sensor tech, etc.

• Working across multiple teams to help with the entirety of project lifecycles & processes. Heavy focus on supporting the sales cycle by partnering with sales engineering/marketing to help pitch with an agency style approach heavy on strategy and design.
• Implementation of code, utilization of modern frameworks and best practices, scalability, modularity, and componentization.
• Test and troubleshoot work, ensuring top quality product and results.
• Stay current on the latest technologies not only for familiarity but for prototyping and finding best fit for future implementation, always having an eye on productization of solutions for re-use.
• Helping team evolve process and best practices as technology shifts and changes.

• BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience
• Expert level knowledge and ability to implement modern web standards: HTML, JavaScript (ES6, ES7, Frameworks, Transpilers), CSS3, Expert level ability to implement third-party APIs. Nice to have: Hands on experience with PHP, VueJS, Laravel, NodeJS, Python
• Working knowledge of implementing external cloud-based services and deployment to cloud-based environments.
• Ability to work with the Adobe Suite from a production/workflow perspective, specifically Photoshop/Illustrator and or Sketch
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with high-performing internal and external agency-like teams and individuals to accomplish common goals with Sr. level autonomy
• Comfortability working with Databases: Relational and NoSQL databases(MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Ability to help with initial project specifications, requirements, and level of effort to inform pricing, architecture, and approach
