We are looking for a Tech Programmer with a profound understanding of video-based programming and a flair for innovation to join our forward-thinking team.
● Responsibilities:
○ Designed and implemented interactive video and graphics solutions using TouchDesigner
and other video-based software.
Video Mapping, Installation set-up, onsite programming, show control, troubleshooting, responding to client requests, generating project reports
○ Collaborate with creative teams to conceive and execute groundbreaking multimedia projects.
○ Optimize video programming systems to enhance performance and reliability.
○ Develop custom shaders, scripts, and modules tailored to project-specific needs.
○ Integrate video programming with cutting-edge technologies such as VR, AR, and IoT.
○ Document programming processes and develop best practices for team use.
○ Provide technical leadership and mentorship in video programming tools and techniques.
○ Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in video programming and interactive media.
● Documentation and Reporting:
○ Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, user guides, and software inventory.
○ Generate reports for management regarding system performance, upgrades, software management, and recommendations.
● Requirements:
○ Solid experience with TouchDesigner and familiarity with other video programming tools like Resolume, Mad Mapper, Notch, Max/MSP, or Unreal Engine.
○ In-depth knowledge of video processing, real-time rendering, and interactive media systems.
○ Proficiency in Python and GLSL shaders.
○ Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve complex technical challenges.
○ Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
● Qualifications and Skills:
○ A bachelor’s degree in video technology, computer science, or a related field is a plus.
○ Proficiency in software deployment, updates, and license management.
○ Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
○ Effective communication skills for interactions with colleagues and end-users.
○ Detail-oriented with a knack for maintaining accurate documentation.
○ Experience with DMX, Lighting Design, and other protocols is a plus.
