Are you a creative individual with experience in AV and Video technology who is looking to join a team of creatives? If so, BRDG Studios is hiring for our next Video Engineer who will help us manage, develop and install memorable LED video walls and interactive technology. This role reports to our Director of Creative Technology and requires someone who is curious and passionate about video tech operations.

Who you are:
As a Video Engineer at BRDG Studios, you will play an essential role in our creative technology team, focusing on the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of video systems, including projectors, screens, LED video walls, content management systems, and interactive technologies like touch screens and lighting. Reporting to the Director of Creative Technology, you’ll be immersed in building the standard video tech operations at BRDG Studios but also bring a curious and creative nature, with a passion for exploring new techniques such as video projection mapping and artistic video processes. While this is a primarily internal role, this role does require you to install finalized components at client locations on an as needed basis. This role is onsite at our Philadelphia office.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and operate video systems, including projectors, LED video walls, video screens, and control systems.
- Set up and troubleshoot content management systems to ensure smooth display and playback of video content across multiple screens and environments.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain touch screens, lighting systems, and interactive displays.
- Trend Savvy – Stay current with new video technologies, trends, and techniques, and explore their potential application to current and future projects.
- Proactively seek out ways to improve video system setups and optimize creative processes for efficiency and quality.
- Load, cue, and edit video content as needed, ensuring alignment with project requirements and visual standards.
- Experiment with video projection mapping and other advanced video techniques to achieve unique visual effects and artistic outcomes.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the visual and interactive experience.
- Manage video content across systems, using content management software to ensure seamless display and transition of visuals.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in video equipment and systems quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of video equipment to keep systems operating at optimal performance.
- Maintain a running inventory of all video related equipment
- Organize and put away technology after installs and shows.
Your Background:

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in resolving technical issues.
- Deep understanding with staging and building LED video walls, video projection system, video playback systems and video content management.
- Familiarity with LED Control Systems such as Brompton, Novastar, etc.
- Ability to handle and manage data and power connections for video walls effectively, creating a streamline and finished appearance. Most of our work is public facing.
- Ability to read and parse electrical wiring diagrams and other technical documents.
- Ability to help vet and source video equipment for rental or purchase.
- Ability to travel to installations a few times per quarter. Majority is local travel to NYC.
- A current portfolio that showcases your work and creative experience.
- A working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar visual effects or motion graphics software.
- Knowledge of G-Suite.
