My name is David Steele Overholt and I am the Founder and Owner of ENTERACT, a studio dedicated to creative technology. I create for experiences, installations, physical objects, and emerging tech using a wide array of materials. I have been an educator and digital designer/developer for over 20 years, focusing on the creative use of technology and its impact on people, 10 years of which I taught at the Kansas City Art Institute as an Associate Professor and director of the Interactive Arts program. My Bachelors of Arts is in Graphic Design and my Masters is from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. I have exhibited and been contracted to work for non-profit, local, national, and multinational corporations including EATON, Siemens Mobile, Pfizer, and more. My work has been funded by organizations such as the National Endowment for the Arts, Spencer Museum of Art, Oklahoma Contemporary, Mid-America Arts Alliance, and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
