Location: In-Office (Yaletown Office in Vancouver, BC)
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000

What You’ll Do

As a 3D Generalist with us, you’ll combine technical skills with creative storytelling to deliver stunning, immersive VR experiences. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Core Responsibilities

• Storytelling: Create engaging, immersive VR scenes that capture imagination and emotion.
• Asset Sourcing & Set Dressing: Use pre-made assets to design captivating environments; no need to model everything from scratch.
• Modeling & Texturing: For those moments we can’t find the perfect asset, you’ll create it yourself.
• Asset Optimization: Process, clean up, and refine assets from various sources—rename, update textures, and more.
• Animation: Add life to props and cameras, ensuring motion feels natural and engaging.
• Lighting: Balance realism with artistic flair to create stunning, well-lit scenes.
• Rendering: Optimize and render assets/scenes to meet technical and visual standards.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and a collaborative mindset.

Technical Skills

• Required Software Proficiency:
• Blender (90% of the work happens here)
• Photoshop (for image editing and compositing)
• After Effects (video editing and motion graphics)
• Unity (familiarity is a must)
• Experience with asset marketplaces like TurboSquid, CG Trader, and Fab

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Figma (UI/UX design)
• Substance Painter (advanced texturing)
• Premiere Pro (video editing)
• Experience with AR/VR educational or kids’ content
