Adjunct Professor – Virtual Reality, Immersive Media and Virtual Production

CSU Northridge

Ability to teach Intermediate Immersive Production.

Demonstrated proficiency in Virtual and/or Augmented Reality Production with a focus on interactive storytelling using Unity and Unreal Engines. Experience with projection mapping and/or Motion Capture Production preferred. Please provide examples of your work.

Masters’ degree in interactive media, animation, games, digital arts, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.

College-level teaching experience is highly desirable along with publications in the field. Los Angeles-based lecturers sought.

ANTICIPATED NEEDS:
Note: All part-time faculty appointments are temporary and do not confer academic rank. Final determination of part-time teaching assignments is contingent upon student enrollment figures and funding.

Expected hiring range is $1,692 to $2,018 per weighted teaching unit (WTU) based on degrees and qualifications. There are three (3.9) WTUs per course.’

Pay: $80.00 – $147.00 per hour
