Coordinator of Digital Media Technology

Position Summary:

The Department of Communication, Sound & Media Arts at Manhattan University is seeking applications for the position of Coordinator of Digital Media Technology, with an expected start date of January 13, 2025. This role also involves a significant teaching component.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technology needs for the department’s three digital media labs (two visual, one audio) and all of the courses taught in those rooms, including the ongoing maintenance, budgeting, and purchasing of all of the labs’ hardware and software
  • Remain active in his or her field
  • Participate regularly in admissions event
  • Work collaboratively on student exhibitions in the departmental art gallery
  • In addition, the candidate will teach three Digital Media Art courses per semester

Qualifications:

  • MFA, PHD, and ABD candidates will be considered.
