ROLE
The Intermediate Creative Technologist is at the heart of designing, rapid prototyping, and executing projects that push the boundaries of technology in service of creativity and brand storytelling.
In this role, you will work hand in hand with the creative and production teams on both internal and external projects, directly contributing to the integration of emerging technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Lead Creative Technologist and multidisciplinary teams to design, prototype, and develop interactive experiences (GenAI, XR, projection, sensors, etc.);
  • Conduct research, evaluation, and testing of new platforms to inspire creative ideation and optimize technical execution;
  • Turn conceptual ideas into functional prototypes, balancing speed and technical feasibility;
  • Support production in the setup, deployment, and technical support of digital installations and hybrid experiences;
  • Document learnings and share knowledge to promote a culture of experimentation;
  • Take part in client presentations, creative demos, and workshops to make technical complexity accessible to everyone.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on experience across multiple domains—creative/concepting, GenAI, physical computing, immersive media.
  • Ability to bridge creative vision with technical execution.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills; loves multidisciplinary, experimental environments.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French is required. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, to work with national and international clients and colleagues (50% of the time) is also required.
  • Familiarity with (an asset):
    • GenAI Tools & Platforms: ComfyUI, other GenAI software; experience with model training.
    • Game Engines & 3D Software: Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, Blender, Cinema 4D.
    • Creative Production Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
    • Visual Development: TouchDesigner, Processing, Max (Max/MSP/Jitter), vvvv, Notch
    • Audio: Music production or sound design experience.
    • Server-Side Technologies: containerization (e.g., Docker), Linux server environments, cloud platform services (e.g., AWS, GCP), and API principles.
    • Coding Languages: Python, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript.
