Job Announcement for permanent position: “Creative Technologies” at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
This position serves the interdisciplinary interface competence between technological and artistic aspects in the field, which is important for the degree program.
Permanent position (divisible 50/50)- well remunerated: EG 13 TV-Hessen + further benefits-

The RheinMain University of Applied Sciences with its study locations in Wiesbaden and Russelsheim sees itself as a cosmopolitan, diverse university. It is recognized for its scientifically sound and professionally qualifying teaching as well as for its application-oriented research, which is closely linked to teaching. A total of around 13 000 students study at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. It employees around 1000 people, including 250 professors.
For this position, we are looking for a motivated, committed and distinctive personality who would like to convey his or her extensive practical experience in the field of ‘Creative Technologies’ to our students in an innovative way across media, who is wiling to experiment and who wants to think new ways. They understand software development as an artistic-creative tool and use it accordingly. With this knowledge, digital technologies can be applied, but also further developed and new forms of creative-artistic expression can be created in order to develop solutions that lead to a better future for people and contribute to society. This position serves the interdisciplinary interface competence between technological and artistic aspects in the subject area, which is important for the course. The bachelor’s degree in “communication design” and the master’s degree in “crossmedia spaces” aim to develop design not only as a competence for the conception and creation of contemporary media products and collective experiences, but also as a socially responsive attitude. The position prepares the students in a future-oriented way for the challenges in the profession of transmedial communication designers.
