The Wilder
Who are the Wilder?
The Wilder is a growing creative studio which creates art installations and experiences for people to learn about nature, to connect with each other, and to inspire creativity. We produce events, create art installations, and create activations for festivals and events in the Lower Mainland.
We are looking for creatives to come on board our roster of makers to support our creations for events and art installations. The hours are flexible and casual, as events and opportunities arise, and your part in the experience will depend on your skills. We are looking for:
– Designers (help us to visualise our creations, do site maps, renders, digital designs)
– Fabricators (welders, lighting designers, woodworkers, painters)
– Digital artists (experience with AR, VR, renders, digital art and experiences)
– Producers
– People experienced with creating art installations, fabricating for sets, designing for creative experiences etc
Who are you?
We are flexible about who we bring on board because we love diverse interests and skills and we encourage diverse applicants to apply. The hours are flexible, require some weekend and event work, and are casual. We have a strong preference for candidates based in Whistler, Squamish, or we would consider Vancouver-based applicants who are able to drive to our event locations. Please DO NOT apply if you are not already based in one of those locations.

We expect that the candidate will earn anywhere from $25 – $35 per hour depending on their experience, although we are open to discussion for outstanding candidates.
