


Sculpture Production Designer (3D Digital Fabrication)
Demiurge is seeking multiple full-time Designers, ranging from entry-level to mid-level experience, to work closely with our Production Team and diverse client group. This position is perfectly suited for the Art, Architecture, Engineering, Industrial Design, or cross-disciplinary graduate who is interested in specializing in fabrication. More than anything, we seek an individual with a diverse skillset and the ambition to take on more than the fundamental tasks of 3D design in a unique and creative way. We do not expect applicants to fulfill every quality we are looking for, however the successful candidate will bring with them a unique and diverse set of skills and experiences and a positive personality which will influence the future growth and evolution of Demiurge.
Pay Range, Benefits, and Perks
Entry-Level Pay range of $28-$32/hour based on previous employment, experience and demonstration of skill.
Mid-Level Pay range of $32-$36/hour based on previous employment, experience and demonstration of skill.
Work hours are 4 days a week from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Thursday. Additional hours, including weekends and overtime along with schedule flexibility and out of town traveling should be expected.

Duties and Responsibilities
3D modeling and parametric design using Rhinoceros and Grasshopper
Preliminary project reviews to create ROM estimations and establish scope of work
Developing project schedules and installation plans in coordination with client budgets
Creating material orders and processing guidelines for vendors
Working closely with the fabrication team to ensure quality and fluidity of fabrication
Performing Material Takeoffs and creating layouts and spreadsheets for estimating and production
Design, Fabrication and Material Research
Creative design development and occasionally conceptual design for clients and/or Demiurge
Coordinating details with clients, engineers and project management teams
Requirements and Qualifications
Excellent skills in Rhinoceros and Grasshopper.
Digital fabrication experience.
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Have the ability to manage multiple complex tasks within a collaborative environment.
Able to conceive and execute drafting tasks in both 2D and 3D.
Ability to visualize and implement complex assemblages of parts.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and Google Workspace.
Design, layout, and composition knowledge.
Knowledge of Measurements, Conversions, and Tolerances.
Knowledge of Materials and Material Standards.
Database organization and visualization.
Valid Colorado Driver’s License and proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
