THE ROLE_

Grand Visual is seeking a talented freelance Creative Technology developer to join our London team on an ad-hoc project basis, supporting the delivery of interactive Digital Out of Home (DOOH) projects. This role sits within our Creative Technology department, acting as the crucial link between creative and technical teams to ensure innovative ideas are brought to life in a thoughtful, effective way.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

The Freelance Creative Technology Developer plays a pivotal role in delivering innovative and interactive Digital Out of Home (DOOH) experiences. Acting as the bridge between creative and technical teams, this individual is responsible for shaping engaging projects, utilising platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, and TouchDesigner, alongside integration of sensors and cameras. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring positive, seamless user experiences throughout all stages of project delivery.

• Plan and shape interactive projects with a strong emphasis on user experience and technical excellence
• Advise on the effective and sensible use of technology to enhance project outcomes
• Lead on the software development and hardware integration to bring ideas from a brief to life whilst working closely to wireframes and user flow diagrams
• Advise on test plans to guarantee the stability and security of public-facing experiences
• Collaborate closely with creative and technical teams throughout the production process
