Job Summary
Hopscotch has a wonderful opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator with experience in facilities & maintenance upkeep, general repair skills, cleanliness and hospitality. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the General Manager and Creative Project Manager. They must be able to be part of a team that provides great guest experience and help oversee the visual and functional components of the entire facility to ensure the highest quality guest experience.

A successful candidate demonstrates strong problem solving skills and is proficient in maintaining overall maintenance & cleanliness of a facility. They must have a professional outlook while working efficiently and enthusiastically in a high-volume, high paced environment. Must have regular weekend availability and be excited to work in a creative and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

• An intermediate knowledge of general repair skills
• Intermediate electrical skills:

Wiring switches & outlets
Ability to read a multimeter
Basic troubleshooting skills

• Intermediate plumbing skills:

Ability to fix leaks
Knowledge of replacing sinks, toilets, etc.

• Intermediate carpentry skills:

Knowledge of power tool usage
Ability to build and hang shelving and pedestals

• Intermediate drywall repair skills
• Intermediate paint skills

Be able to frequently and consistently provide touch ups

• Knows basic computer skills

Knowledge of Google Workspace
Familiar with MAC and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of TouchDesigner and Ableton Live is a plus
Microcontroller experience is a plus

• Maintain the gallery quality aesthetics and function of all installations.
• Open the facility each day to make sure the space is clean and ready for guests.
• Project manage maintenance and cleanliness both in and around the facility throughout the shift.
• Daily cleans of all areas (lounge, gallery, restrooms, patio, etc.)
• Complete checklists each day to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Help manage and execute all weekly/monthly deep cleans for the facility.
• Use closed days to complete higher level tasks provided by the Creative Project Manager.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance.
• Work with management to help create best practices for stronger efficiencies in our facility.
• Help facilitate new art exhibit installs when needed.
• Work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
• Responsible and up-to-date on all email and HotSchedules communication.
• Represent the Hopscotch brand with integrity and enthusiasm to hundreds of guests per day.

Compensation

• Full Time
• Pay: $22/hr. + tip pool
