Reporting to the Executive Interactive Producer, this role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of technology projects blending the digital and physical experience. The Interactive Producer is a crucial part of the DI Technology and project team, collaborating in the creative process and ensuring the projects, and specifically the technology scope, are on time, on budget, and within scope. Producer roles are at the center of our technology projects and are highly impactful and visible both internally and externally.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:

  • Produce and lead immersive technology projects from concept development through delivery or live activation.
  • Is the source of truth and “hub” for the tech scope of the project.
  • Lead, manage, and provide the budget, scope, timeline, design, development, engineering, installation, and quality assurance for the interactive technology portion of the project
  • Collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure all scope components seamlessly connect with the interactive elements being produced
  • Manage resource needs and allocation of cross-functional teams (engineers, artists, designers, operators, hardware techs)
  • Manage the creation of new processes and tools.
  • Ensure creative vision and production scope is consistently delivered.
  • Determine production needs, procedures, and schedules.
  • Continuously communicate with key stakeholders and team members to keep updated on progress against expected milestones and budgets.
  • Proactively identify production issues, conflicts between schedule, cost, and project scope targets and offer solutions accordingly.
  • Act as an effective and confident liaison between client and creative teams.
  • Maintain an acute sense for visual aesthetics to ensure overall experience is maximized.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to DI’s services in order to explore and recommend best-in-class solutions.
  • Manage project vision for the team, set the roadmap for qualitative objectives and quantitative goals with a deep understanding of DI’s mission and strategies.
  • Communicate project plans and benefits clearly while growing meaningful relationships across our various departments.
  • Ensure that quality standards and good working practices are met on all projects undertaken by the department.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Interactive Producer and Vice President of Finance and Legal Affairs to develop contracts, budgets, and Scope of Work documents.
  • Teach and lead by example to ensure the team is successful and balances learning, innovation, support, agility, and maintenance.
  • Mentor Production teams and impart your digital production knowledge.
  • Champion a culture of constructive feedback, both individually and as a group.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of client goals, deliverables and strategies.
  • Coordinate meetings, client and internal, pertaining to interactive technology scope.
  • Work closely with the A/V Engineering team and Estimating team to determine, facilitate and procure required hardware.
  • Manages punch list for each project execution and delivers a Service Agreement Plan to the client.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technology or equivalent relevant work experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of Creative Producer experience including managing medium and large technology projects required
  • Expert level with using Microsoft Office products required
  • Previous project management experience and agile methodologies is a plus
