SOSO is seeking a digital designer, creative developer, or computational designer to join our studio for a full-time, paid internship or co-op to join us in our Boston studio. If you are eager to contribute your talents to exciting projects that combine art, design, and technology, we want to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will be based on your expertise and can include web development, graphic design, UI/UX, 3D modeling, preparing materials for proposals and presentations, and helping with a wide range of studio tasks. The job includes anything you can do to help the studio work better.

As an Intern or Co-op > Boston at SOSO you will:
- Collaborate with developers to build interactive and intuitive front-end experiences using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Create user-friendly interfaces that enhance digital installations and applications, focusing on form, function, and user experience.
- Help shape the visual storytelling of our work by designing presentations and creating assets for client proposals.
- Design and prototype 3D assets for interactive applications or physical installations.
- Assist with studio organization, assembly of hardware for installations, and prep for client meetings.

- Works well within a team of multidisciplinary creatives, contributing to the studio’s projects and culture.
- Thrives in a dynamic studio environment and can tackle complex challenges, whether they’re design or technical.
- Manages multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail, producing polished work whether in design, development, or general studio tasks.
- Is eager to learn new tools and techniques and applies them to real-world problems at the intersection of art and technology.
Bonus points if:
- You have experience designing with Figma
- You have experience creating motion graphics
- You are familiar with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Stable Diffusion, & Midjourney
- You have experience with Github and team-based software development
- You are familiar with back-end server & CMS technologies
