I am looking for a creative technologist to build a small proof-of-concept for an interactive Wii Bowling livestream. I am not developing a new Wii game. A remote viewer will connect a Wii Remote to a computer, and its button, tilt, and swing data will be sent over the internet to TouchDesigner. TouchDesigner will display the data and send controlled commands through Arduino or ESP32 to a small tabletop robotic gripper that grips and releases a foam ball. MediaPipe may later be used to track my body at the bowling location.
The first prototype only needs to prove: hold B to close the gripper, move the controller to affect motion speed, and release B to open the gripper. It also needs connection-loss shutoff, speed limits, and an emergency stop. Do you have experience with TouchDesigner, Python, WebSockets, Wii/Bluetooth controllers, Arduino or ESP32, and physical computing?
