Join our creative team as a Freelance 2D&3D Motion Generalist! If you have experience in creating stunning motion graphics across 2D and 3D, this is your chance to work on exciting projects ranging from immersive installations to large-scale displays. Collaborate with some of the best creatives in the industry to deliver high-quality visuals and push the boundaries of digital experiences.

Float4 is looking for freelance artists with robust experience in multimedia production and a good eye for design and compositing for upcoming projects in 2024-2025. The Motion Generalist 2D&3D artist is working under the supervision of senior members of the creative team. They are responsible for the execution of dynamic and visually stunning motion graphics that align with the project vision. They work closely with the creative team to create sequences and assets for a variety of digital media, including permanent installations, events, shows and other.

 

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Animate 3D and 2D graphics to produce high-quality motion content
  • Creates scenes, 3D assets and designs based on concepts, briefs and storyboards
  • Provide strong quality and consistency of work across deliverables
  • Manage tasks on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality motion graphics
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate feedback and find solutions
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and project briefs and specs while fostering innovative approaches to enhance and expand quality
  • Collaborate with developers and integrators to integrate motion into the final display
  • Communicate task status to their team to ensure deadlines are met and any roadblocks are addressed
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • DEC or BA in 3D animation or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Motion Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your motion graphics work
  • Good lookdev and compositing skills
  • Experience working with and editing to music
  • Experience working in non-traditional formats such as immersive environments and large display formats
  • Well versed in C4D with good knowledge of Octane (Redshift, X-particles would be a plus)
  • Well versed in After Effects and Adobe creative suite
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Shotgrid
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
