General description:

The 2D/3D Motion Designer is responsible for creating animations and dynamic visual elements, consistent with the artistic direction of a project. He/she translates visual concepts into animated content for various media (screens, immersive installations, promotional videos, etc.). In close collaboration with the artistic director and/or the Lead Motion Designer, he/she translates the main paintings and visuals into impactful animated images.

Main responsibilities:

Develop images and animations from the main boards and looks provided by the project’s Art Director and/or Lead Motion Designer.
Propose visual concepts and suggest adjustments or improvements based on project needs.
Participate, when required, in the ideation and design phases.
Carry out routine requests independently, within the allotted deadlines.
Take part, if necessary, in the integration of content at the delivery sites and make the necessary adjustments on site.

Other technical skills:

Comfortable working in a Windows environment (MS Windows).
Very good understanding of 2D/3D production pipelines and the technical constraints linked to different broadcast formats.
Knowledge of best practices for rendering, compositing and optimization for real-time and offline.
Language requirements:

French and English (written and oral) – professional level required.
Training requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (graphic design, animation, multimedia, etc.).
Minimum experience and skills:

Minimum 2 years
Relevant experience in producing multimedia content in brand activation projects or large-scale immersive environments.
Strong understanding of clients’ creative standards and ability to apply them consistently.
Experience in design and production for atypical or large-scale formats, including:
Architectural projections
Immersive screenings
Domes
Volumetric screens
LED scenographies
