Immersive Gamebox

Immersive Gamebox is on a mission to reinvent how we play video games and bring people together through shared play. We’ve created an immersive team challenge, which takes place in interactive Gameboxes, where players work together to win. The Gameboxes feature a range of techniques including projection mapping, touch screens, motion tracking and surround sound to deliver a fun and immersive experience with no need for headsets.

We launched at the end of 2019 in London, and now have four venues in the UK. We opened the first Immersive Gamebox in the US in Dallas, TX at the end of 2020, followed by our second venue in The Woodlands, TX at the end of 2021 and now have opened venues in Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO, Washington DC, LA and New York City! We have huge growth ambitions in the US, and a pipeline to launch further venues – it’s an exciting time to join our growing brand!

The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Engineer to support our significant US expansion plan. As a construction project manager you’ll lead the full project life cycle, and deliver multiple complex projects across the US, ensuring the highest standards and deadlines are met. Success in this role will require the development of effective working relationships with senior leaders across commercial, operations, strategy & property teams in the wider Immersive Gamebox team with external parties.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support the site search team in developing test-fits, evaluate landlord work letters for projected preliminary build-out budgets and support negotiations
  • You will manage the full construction project lifecycle of multiple new sites from feasibility to handover
  • You will be responsible for budget control, administration & management
  • You will ensure external consultants, suppliers & contractors deliver on time, on budget & safely
  • You will carry out post project reviews to establish learnings and best practice
  • You will effectively communicate with key stakeholders, through accurate and timely reporting
  • You will manage dependencies, resources and scheduling constraints, and any issues across multiple projects


  • The role requires excellent project management skills with a strong track-record of hitting and exceeding business targets/deadlines, we are looking for someone with:
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • Client side experience is advantageous
  • A driven and flexible self starter who can prioritise a challenging workload
  • Is flexible and available for nationwide travel as required
  • Has experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Has good technical understanding, particularly with HVAC systems & MEP
  • Has experience engaging with the property aspect of business
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to deliver full turnkey projects from inception to handover
