Compensation: This is an exempt position. Compensation will vary based on experience.
Meow Wolf is launching a division that will drive the development and creation of a connected Meow Wolf Experience ecosystem of immersive art and storytelling exhibitions, digital content and experiences, and creative extensions in many forms. We will reach our growing participant fanbase in all mediums, inviting them through portals that are physical, digital and virtual.
A core function of this division is to deliver content strategy and production for new digital platforms. Achieving this will require collaboration across the organization to help develop and execute on the content plan. The intention is to invite audiences into our creative universes through a variety of media, expressed across emerging platforms.
The Project Manager, under the supervision of the SVP, Creative Director for Emerging Media, is responsible for overseeing, from a planning and logistical standpoint, the day to day development & production of multiple different content streams for the MW App. Initial focus will be planning, production and implementation of all content for the MVP product launch, including identification and management of existing assets, and the development and production of new and original assets, including video, audio, text, story/narrative, documentary, and interactive content. Candidate must be results-driven, strategically-minded, versatile and collaborative – able to coordinate planning & execution across many different departments and stakeholders. Candidates must also be detail oriented, thorough, and meticulous in communication, as they will be responsible for milestones, pacing, and quality of delivery.
How you will do it…

Initiate, plan and supervise all phases of production from pre-planning to delivery for Meow Wolf App Content

Develop and implement logistical, budgetary, overall production workflow/communication, staffing, and scheduling scenarios to support multiple content pipelines, in concert with SVP, Creative Director

Responsible for close management of schedule, resources and budget, including risk mitigation

Close coordination with project management leads for the MW App, and with leads from all internal depts focused on individual content pipelines

Ensure all legal paperwork including contracts, clearances and licensing agreements are in place for all content deliverables.

Oversee, initiate, and manage vendor engagements, including contracts, support, and oversight of pacing, communication & deliverables.

Communicate status of assets and responsible for coordinating asset delivery to all teams – App production & publishing, technical, marketing, legal, press etc – including all final content asset deliveries for live deployment.
To be successful in this role…

Ten+ years of experience in an arts, creative technology, entertainment/content, next gen storytelling, new media or innovative product development environment.

Work environment & physical demands…

This position is based in Santa Fe, NM, and a company laptop will be provided.

This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm MT or 10 am to 6 pm MT – occasionally requiring flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs, as well as travel to off-site locations.
