Project Manager (Intermediate to Senior)

Full job description

ngx is looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team! This is a role requiring in-person presence at our Vancouver studio; a minimum of two days a week, for prototype development, testing, and project review sessions.

The Role

At ngx, our passion is creating and delivering awe-inspiring experiences to our audiences around the world; our Project Managers lead the charge in creating those experiences.

Project Managers lead our teams through the conceptualization, planning, production, installation, and support of our digital interactive exhibits and experiences. Responsible for managing one or more projects, they lead a team of multiple people (content specialists, UX/UI designers, developers, 3D animators) and bring structure to chaos.

Within a single week, our Project Managers may change gears between strategizing the team’s resourcing, helping define the major production milestones and schedules, testing our software exhibits in the office, ensuring clarity of communications between all stakeholders, maintaining the required documentation, coordinating our hardware recommendations, working with exhibit fabricators and other contractors, and leading internal meetings and working sessions. The core of this role is planning out and strategizing around project budget, schedule, resourcing, and scope, but beyond that, there is an opportunity for each project manager to influence the creative and technical outcome of their projects with ideas for content, design, and technology.

Our Project Managers work closely with our Producers, as well as others in ngx’s Project Management Office – Production Managers and Project Coordinators – to strategically plan out our projects from concept to close-out.
