Developer

The Developer will be a consummate team player and creative professional, working under the direction of the Senior Developer and closely collaborating with the Design and Content personnel. The Developer will be a natural storyteller with a first class positive attitude, an innate passion for learning and continuous improvement, and a sincere desire to do things the right way.

The Developer will work across projects of varying scope and complexity, creating custom software applications that push the boundaries of multimedia interaction and storytelling. These applications will leverage existing and emerging technologies to engage users through web, mobile, touch table, interactive wall, or gesture-recognition experiences.

The Primary Requirements and Responsibilities for this position include:

• Proficiency in programing tools in C# and Unity
• Participate in concept development workshops with clients
• Assess, develop, debug, maintain, and set code standards
• Implement UI screens
• Develop front-end programs in nimble-agile environment, with clean interactions that foster user engagement
• Beta testing, QA, and site installation
• Build upon and create robust and extensible utilities
• Research and test emerging technologies

The Desired Capabilities, Skills and Areas of Proficiency for this position include:

• Object-oriented programming (C#, JavaScript, Python)
• Unity’s Scriptable Render Pipelines: HDRP and URP
• Experience with Unity’s Shaderlab and Shadergraph
• Experience with Unity Packages: Mecanim, Post-Processing, Cinemachine, TextMeshPro
• Postgres and SQL Server
• Django
• GitHub

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

• Docker
• TouchDesigner

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience
