STEM Teacher

About Us:

SmartCore Labs is a dynamic organization dedicated to hands-on, practical, and applied STEM education. Our mission is to inspire K-12 students to explore Science, Math, Engineering, and Art through engaging programs in Robotics, Electronics, Animation, 3D Modeling and Printing, Flying Machines, and Coding.

We work with students aged 5 to 18, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and committed instructors to join our team. If you’re passionate about teaching and motivating kids in STEM, this could be the perfect part-time opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Set up class materials and kits.
• Use company-provided slides and structured materials to deliver engaging lessons.
• Run camps and teach key STEM concepts to students.
• Answer student questions and maintain their attention and interest.
• Provide feedback on students, courses, and content.

Requirements:

• Goal-oriented and self-driven.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Available to commit 3–6 hours on set weekdays or weekends.

Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required):

• Programming in Java, Python, or Robot C.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, phone app development, or game programming.

Qualifications:

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
• Classroom management skills.
• Experience working with children (1+ year preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
