Technical Director

We’re looking for a Technical Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical supervision of the project from concept stage through commissioning.
• Defining required input data and documentation for design works.
• Preparing technical specifications and design briefs.
• Identifying optimal technical solutions to support creative concepts.
• Performing calculations and selecting equipment, components, and materials.
• Organizing the design of A/V systems, low-voltage systems, cable routes, and interactive installations.
• Managing the development of: technical descriptions, specifications, wiring and connection diagrams, equipment layout drawings, cabling systems, multimedia and lighting automation systems.
• Producing design documentation at Concept, Detailed Design, and Working Documentation stages.
• Reviewing design solutions for compliance with technical requirements.
• Quality control of project documentation, including completeness and formatting.
• Coordinating documentation with related disciplines, contractors, and the client.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of multimedia systems architecture and operating principles.
• Understanding of multimedia equipment, including: projection systems, switching and routing equipment, LCD and LED displays, background and point-source sound systems, digital Signage solutions.
• Understanding of local area networks (TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of Art-Net / DMX protocols and lighting control systems.
• Experience organizing and managing multimedia design processes (video, audio, projection) and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams (design, construction, power supply, cabling, multimedia).
• Knowledge of design standards, codes, and technical regulations (GOST, SP or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD / Revit.
• Fluent English with a strong command of technical English.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Degree in Automation Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SketchUp, Vectorworks, Capture.
