Job Overview
We are seeking an IT & AV Specialist with solid technical experience in IT systems, networking, and AV technology. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of IT and AV systems who is looking to grow their expertise in projection mapping, automation, and control systems.
You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT and AV equipment for live productions, interactive experiences, and permanent installations. This role includes hands-on work with networking, media servers, and control systems, as well as an expectation to travel for on-site installations. You’ll also participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide technical support.

Key Responsibilities
● Install, configure, and maintain IT and AV systems, including Windows-based infrastructure.
● Troubleshoot network issues (IP addressing, routers, switches, VLANs).
● Set up and integrate AV hardware (projectors, displays, speakers, video processors).
● Assist with projection mapping and media server workflows (MadMapper, Resolume, Pixera, Vertex, VIOSO, Touch Designer ).
● Develop basic automation scripts (Python, PowerShell) for system management.
● Work with control systems (TouchDesigner, GrandMA3, Notch, VIOSO, Dome Projection Tools) for interactive experiences.
● Support audio systems (amplifiers, interfaces, surround sound configurations).
● Assist with hardware deployments.
● Participate in on-call tech support rotations and provide remote troubleshooting support.
● Travel as needed for installations and technical support.
Required Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in IT, networking, or AV technology C++, Java, Python, TCP/UDP Etc.
● Strong understanding of Windows-based IT systems (hardware, software, troubleshooting).
● Knowledge of networking software and hardware fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches, cyber security, compliance, infrastructure).
● Experience with AV equipment setup (projectors, speakers, video processing, TV, Server building/dev, ).
● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Problem-solving skills refer to the ability to analyze complex issues, identify their root causes, and develop effective solutions. It involves critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability to resolve challenges efficiently.
● Willingness to travel for installations and participate in on-call support rotations
● Ability to learn quickly and acquire new skills in a dynamic work environment

Projection Mapping & Media Servers: Experience with MadMapper, Resolume, Pixera, VIOSO.

● Creative Software & 3D Workflows: Adobe Suite, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Octane Render.
● Audio & Hardware Integration: Hands-on work with amplifiers, audio interfaces, Raspberry Pi, Arduino.
