About the Role

We are seeking an Unreal generalist to join a small but growing team creating cinematics for game trailers. This job is perfect for someone with an artistic eye, as well as interest in the technical aspects of developing rendering processes for high end cinematics out of Unreal Engine. Applicants must have a high level of proficiency in Unreal Engine, especially animating cameras in the sequencer. As a member of this lean team the artist must also be adaptable to wearing several hats, be a good communicator, find comfort in being self-directed while meeting deadlines and able to solve technical problems (in collaboration with the IT department) as they arise.

Ideal applicant would be passionate about visual storytelling with some experience in technical aspects of creating and working with game builds in Unreal Engine. Responsibilities include real-time cinematography, lighting, and rendering of cinematics, as well as some troubleshooting while ingesting game builds and other assets across a hybrid CG pipeline. Understanding of rendering processes, blueprinting, optimization, and new technologies within Unreal Engine preferred. Experience with After Effects, C4D, Maya, Blender, and/or Houdini also a huge plus.
