Video Technician (Freelance / Part-Time)

Overview
OSE (Optimal Show Experience) is on the lookout for a freelance or part-time Video Technician to join our creative team support our video operations with professionalism, creativity, and precision.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the setup and configuration of video systems, including projectors, LED walls, switchers, and broadcast cameras.
• Calibrate projection and video wall systems to ensure crisp visuals and seamless alignment on site.
• Serve as Video Director for select shows – managing live switching, multi-camera feeds, and visual cues with confidence.
• Work collaboratively with our A/V and scenic teams to design and execute visually stunning shows.
• Troubleshoot video issues under pressure and resolve them quickly and professionally.
• Oversee final checks, video playback, and cue execution during live events.
• Maintain clear communication and uphold a high standard of conduct onsite.

What We’re Looking For:

• A seasoned video professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience in live events, projection mapping, and LED/video wall setups.
• Experienced with video routing, signal flow, and live directing (Blackmagic, Barco, Resolume, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with broadcast standards and multi-camera production is a bonus.
• Technically sharp and able to troubleshoot quickly under pressure.
