An inventive and whimsical creative who thrives in collaborating with stakeholders, teams, and guests to develop experiences from initial spark to
opening day. Proven history of creating and programming a range of temporary and permanent experiences from small interactive, to automated shows. Able to imagine multiple projects concurrently working with organizations large and small. Hands-on experience creating, leading, and completing multi sensory experiences by leveraging story treatments, written guest journeys, concept artwork, 3D modelling, and software programming.

 

Work & Experience

Senior Expereince Designer Go 2 Productions
August 2022/March 2023

Reporting the the Creative Director, I led the creative development, guest journey detailing, script writing, and masterplanning of the central show control system for Syncra: An Immersive Music Experience. I led a team of animators, lighting designers, set designers, EDM composers, and software programmers to bring this 7,000 sq ft touring exhibit from initial concept to opening day.

Working with clients, and the internal lighting design team to deliver concepts, programming, and show control systems for interactive lighting and audiovisual experiences for museums, attractions, and retail.
Based on my knowledge of technology and storytelling I advised clients on ways to leverage interactive media to communicate their message. Major clients and projects included Vancouver Airport Pier D Expansion,
Cape Bretton Mining Museum 4-D Mine Simulator, Tempur-pedic Experience Store NYC, and Rogers Experience Store Toronto.

As a freelance consultant I work with parks, museums, and organizations to develop, ensure stakeholder buy-in, write, and lead production on bespoke permanent interactive installations, pop-ups, and multimedia
shows. I also call upon my knowledge as a show programming designer to create prototype programming as needed. Favourite recent projects include St. Pauls Hospital Foundation, BC Lottery Commission, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Burnaby Village Museum.
