Bio

Hi there, I’m Sebastiaan Smink a multidisciplinary artist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. I’m creative director by day, sound designer by night and I run my own boutique creative direction and consultancy practice called Studio Smink. When I’m not working on projects for the studio I do freelance jobs as  a music producer and sound designer.

In all of my work I implement my musical roots and art direction skills into projects that combine strategy, creativity and a technological innovation. I’ve worked and led a wide range of projects; from writing film concepts and directing shoots, to designing sound sculptures for art spaces and creating creative strategies for creative and corporate businesses.

I’m here to create new professional relationships and to collaborate on audiovisual projects that operate on the intersection of technology, design and human emotion. Through my work I have established a loyal client base in advertising, theatre, fashion, entertainment and fine arts and have worked with brands like Amsterdam Fashion Week, Asics, Chupa Chups, Comedy Central, Desperados, DGTL Festival, Jägermeister, Red Bull, United Nations.

From these and other renowned brands I’m getting requested to come up with new and interesting ways to communicate the products and services on a weekly basis.
