In my current role I work with a vast range of new and exciting immersive technologies, interfacing with customers and suppliers to design and install bespoke immersive projection systems. I travel around the UK and sometimes Europe and further afield for installations and trade shows. I have applied my programming knowledge in several ways, including creating internal tools, tests and demos, supporting customers, and a machine vision app to detect video signal dropouts.
- 8+ years experience designing and configuring immersive projection systems, optical tracking systems such as Vicon/ART/Optitrack, and virtual reality headsets e.g. Varjo, using game engines to develop tools and immersive applications
- Extensive experience with computers/computer hardware/local networks in general
