Position Overview:
The IT Specialist with Audio-Visual Focus will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, focusing on software and system management, while also contributing to audio-visual solutions. This position involves providing technical support, software administration, and innovation to ensure seamless IT operations and effective audio-visual communication.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure and Support:
● Oversee the maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and software applications.
● Provide technical support to address a range of IT-related issues, from hardware and software problems to network connectivity and security matters.
● Monitor system performance, execute upgrades, and uphold data integrity and security protocols.

System and Software Management:
● Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications throughout the organization.
● Implement best practices for software deployment, updates, and license management.
● Monitor system health, troubleshoot software-related issues, and optimize performance.

Network and Security Oversight:
● Configure and sustain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
● Manage network protocols, IP addressing, and security protocols to uphold efficient operations.

Video Production Proficiency
Have a comprehensive understanding of video signal flow encompassing the setup and management of diverse input and output configurations. This includes setup of projectors, monitors, LED walls, and an array of signal capture and display techniques.

Documentation and Reporting:
● Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, user guides, and software inventory.
● Generate reports for management regarding system performance, upgrades, software management, and recommendations.

Staying Current with Technology:

● Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT and audio-visual fields.

● Propose innovative solutions to improve IT operations and user experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
● Proven experience in IT systems management, software administration, and technical support.
● Proficiency in software deployment, updates, and license management.
● Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
● Effective communication skills for interactions with colleagues and end-users.
● Detail-oriented with a knack for maintaining accurate documentation.
● Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous.
